JENNA WILKINSON

Jenna Wilkinson, CMHCi, therapist

Jenna Wilkinson, Student Therapist, believes in being a therapist who is human first—one who sees the strength in others and fosters a safe environment for individuals to grow. Her practice centers on the profound importance of her role in clients' lives and the deep value she places on each person who walks through her door.

Jenna specializes in the following areas:

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • perinatal mental health (including fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond)

  • relationship, parenting, and family issues

  • couples therapy

  • faith transitions

  • grief

  • ADHD/neurodivergence

She understands that these areas often intersect with our deepest sense of identity and purpose, requiring careful, nonjudgmental support. Her approach centers on each person's individual circumstances, customizing treatment to meet their specific requirements and foster both personal development and recovery.

Currently pursuing her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the University of the Southwest, Jenna holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of New Mexico.

In practice, she uses:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1 trained)

Her professional experience spans diverse populations, including couples, people navigating spiritual challenges, families in difficult situations, teenagers in residential care, and student athletes, having previously served as an assistant coach for high school track and field. Above all, Jenna is committed to walking alongside her clients, helping them discover the tools they need to get where they want to go.

Outside of her therapeutic work, Jenna is an enthusiastic true crime podcast listener, a passionate sports fan who enjoys attending Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth games, and a music lover who frequently attends concerts. At home, she loves spending time with her husband, three children, and two cats.

For those considering therapy, Jenna wants you to know that her practice is built on acceptance, not judgment. Many people avoid seeking help due to fear of criticism, but her role is to walk alongside you on your journey, offering support and understanding. She believes deeply that healing isn't linear; it's a process full of ups and downs, and that's not only normal but expected. In her care, you'll find a space where your humanity is honored and your strength is recognized.
